Sitaramaya

Sita has now been formally studying and practicing Indigenous Plant Wisdom for over nine years. She has undertaken an apprenticeship in the Shipibo tradition. She works and learns from the Master Plants and dietas. She works with individuals and groups in ceremony. She has been an apprentice under Guillermo Arevalo “Kestembetsa” for over four years.

Sita came to Ayahuasca through her yoga practice when she was invited to join a journey by her teacher. When she participated in that first ceremony over eight years ago, she had been abstinent from all alcohol and drugs and had maintained self imposed dietary restrictions. After the ceremony, she came to the deep realization that the thirteen years preceeding that first ceremony had been a preparation for her work with Master Plant Wisdom.

Over the last twenty years, Sita has founded several organizations including, PlantTeachers.com.  She is the founder of Conscious Path Creation and Quantum Path Creation. She uses her western Life Coaching skills in conjunction with Indigenous ceremonial work to help people integrate their learning into the practical and spiritual aspects of every day life. Through PlantTeachers, she coordinates groups and conferences in the Amazon.

Sitaramaya is a stand for "Deep Ecology," ecology that is more than recycling and preserving our natural resources and is the ecology of the interrelatedness, intelligence and equality of all creation in the ecosphere.
